Death overhead! Why economic bulbs are harmful to your body?

Economic bulbs contain mercury, a powerful neurotoxin that particularly affects babies and pregnant women. It is particularly harmful to the brain, nervous system, liver, and kidneys.

Many of us looking to save energy and money by replacing old light bulbs with economic, called improperly also "eco". But high-energy light bulbs from the new generation are so toxic that the US Environmental Protection Agency has issued an extraordinary protocol for cases of breakage of these light bulbs and the subsequent emission of toxic gases.
A study by scientists Wilhelm Klaudic at the Fraunhofer Institute has shown that breaking such a light bulb into a closed space leading to the emission of a quantity of mercury 20 times higher than the maximum permissible.
Economic light bulbs can cause:
  • dizziness
  • headaches
  • a migraine
  • spasms
  • tiredness
  • difficulty concentrating
  • nervousness
Why should you switch to other types of bulbs?
  • Economic bulbs contain mercury, which is a powerful neurotoxin, affecting, in particular, the children and pregnant women. Particularly harmful it is for the brain, nervous system, liver, and kidney. In addition, it can affect the cardiovascular, immune and reproductive systems. Mercury can also cause tremor, nervousness, insomnia, memory loss, headache, cancer and Alzheimer's.
  • Economic bulbs are carcinogenic. A new research conducted by Peter Brown in Berlin has shown that these bulbs contain carcinogens, such as:
  • Phenol - a solid, crystalline, acidic and toxic obtained from coal tar and used in the chemical industry.
  • Naphthalene - a volatile crystalline compound produced by the distillation of coal tar, is widely used in the chemical industry.
  • Styrene - a byproduct of the petroleum that is a liquid unsaturated hydrocarbon.
  • Economic bulbs emit a large amount of ultraviolet radiation.
  • It is scientifically proven that ultraviolet rays damage the eyes and skin. In some cases, they can even cause skin cancer. It is known that these bulbs emit ultraviolet B rays (UVB - causes a number of photochemical changes within cells, including damage to DNA, leading to premature aging of the skin) and even traces of ultraviolet C radiation (UVC), both having a negative impact on the immune system. In addition, this radiation damages skin tissue and prevents the normal formation of vitamin D. These bulbs are so toxic that they should not be disposed of together with other wastes as hazardous waste. If it happens to break such a bulb in the house, open the doors and windows of the house immediately for at least 15 minutes, leaving the room to avoid being exposed to toxic gases. The bad news is that the old tungsten lamps will soon be unavailable.
